I've been to France for two weeks, tres bien! Ended up in Paris on Radiohead-concert, which was brilliant apart form dehydration and "cooked beans", god, what a stench. But it was all beautiful, Bat for Lashes too.

I've had some star-struck dreams lately. A couple of nights ago I dreamt I met Joni Mitchell at a party, and after everyone was gone and it was just me and her left in the room, we started talking about life and other mysteries. I can't remember what she said but she said some wise stuff. I wish so badly I could remember it.
I have also met another celebrity in my dreams, this dream was more like a prophecy. Thom Yorke came to me and told me that all clocks and phones were all really ringing to warn us all. Against what I don't know, he never told. I don't really want to think about it. I have a little suspicion, though, where this prophecy might have come from. I have a Radiohead t-shirt with a picture of a telephone and the words: Never, ever pick it up.
Still, it's creepy. |

No raindrops in a week or so, in Bergen that's just sensational.
I'm writing notation. Here is a screenshot-picture of what I've been doing all day. It's for a concert I'm having with a tiny classical ensemble, I think it'll be beautiful.

I'm trying to work out a tour for October in the U.S. I'm doing it all by myself, very proud of that. I've never been to America. I haven't been able to book any gigs yet, though. I'll be playing on the pavements of New York if that's what it takes, I'm going.
Here are some new lines I'm working on:
Clocks and coats on Collect your memories No, no more listening Just tell them, tell the children
Someone gave it Someone got it Someone put the lights out Everything depends on you
You know all the names You know all the numbers Everything makes sense to you
And the music is coming to me, ever so gently, and the lines are rinsed, air-dried, polished, lacquered. "It's painful to peel your own onion"

I'm a big fan of Almost Famous, and found myself reading old articles by Cameron Crowe (the director of Almost Famous) from the Rolling Stone magazine, and I stumbled over this. Oh what a treasure! Read and enjoy, all Mitchell-fans!

| My brand new blog.
Things are going very well. I do have some trouble arranging my new songs, I've bought so much equipment, I don't know where to start, what to think. I've got a blurry vision of the sound of my new music, but my technical skills are not exactly anything to brag about. Hopefully it'll come.
Pollution also scares me, so I try to travel by train instead of aircraft as often as possible. I don't know if it helps, but it makes me feel better.
I try to prepare myself for the future and read Byron. I wrote this:
Where no one cuts your tongue Oh, to know nothing and to know all To be both the animal and the god
Happy Easter.
